Grove Farm Lake (grid reference SO 824 541) is located on the western edge of Worcester, on the outskirts of St Johns. The entrance track is off Farmbrook Close, postcode WR2 5UG – the entrance gate can be unlocked using the combination number on the Wards membership card. Close and lock the gate then follow the track and park alongside the lake using either of the available car parks. Use only the official parking and do not park on the road leading to the new housing estate.
It is an established one acre lake with around 18 well spaced, permanent slabbed pegs, which contains a good head of beautiful, fully-scaled double figure carp to over 20lb (see a typical catch below), as well as Perch, Roach and Rudd to 2lb, and Bream up to 7lb.
This is a members only water, which is occasionally used for club matches on a Sunday (see full fixture list on the matches tab above for details). Please note that individual fishing is not allowed on match day until after the match is finished – check fixture list for dates.
