History and Club Structure

The fishing club evolved from the HW Ward Engineering Company based in Blackpole, Worcester. The factory closed in 1984 but the fishing club continued for club members, providing fishing in rural Worcestershire.

We are a small club but new members are always welcome.

We try to keep our rules to a minimum. Those which we do insist on are for the good of the club and aim to avoid any ill feeling amongst club members.

The club is administered with minimal formal structure but we encourage and hope members will participate and become active members of their club.

Wards 84 AC takes out an annual club membership of the Angling Trust (the national organisation which administers and promotes all angling activities in the UK), so by joining Wards 84 you will also support the work of the Angling Trust.

Our Waters
Wards 84 AC controls 3 waters. Two set in Worcestershire’s beautiful countryside, the third a little closer to the city. Use the drop down menu at the top to view the individual waters.
